Of course Santa and Mrs. Claus live at the North Pole.  But did you know they also live other places sometimes.  They travel from place to place getting to know the people.  Right now Santa and Mrs. Claus live in Houston.   Previous to Texas they lived in Georgia and Alabama so they are definitely southerns with that southern hospitality at the heart of who they are.

Santa Jerry began his Santa career over 35 years ago with charitable appearances at churches, schools, community events and the occasional private party.  His love of children brought him to Girl Scouts when is first daughter was a Brownie Scout.  Although not an official leader, he assisted Mrs. Claus in training adult leaders and Girl Scouts in camping skills and assisted the Brownies and Juniors in earning their various patches.  He worked with leaders and girls in Girl Scouts for over 15 years.  When his son was a Tiger Scout, Santa Jerry joined Boy Scouts of America as a Den Leader and later become the Cub Scout Pack Leader and as time went on became a Boy Scout Troup Leader.  In addition to being a Pack Leader and Troup Leader he was also a Train the Trainer for adult leaders during his 15 years with Boy Scouts of America.  His greatest pleasure was seeing boys and girls learning new skills and advancing into strong and honorable young men and women.  Santa Jerry carries this same since of duty and honor into his Santa appearances.  He strives to live up to the example of St. Nicholas of Myra the Giver of Gifts.

Christmas Carol started her Christmas career over 35 years ago as Santa's helper and elf assisting Santa with all his appearances.  As the years when by Mrs. Claus noticed that young children were often afraid of sitting with Santa but would easily come to her to share their secrets and talk with her.  In 2013 she put on The Dress and publicly became Santa's Mrs. Claus. Sitting in a chair along side Santa Jerry they became the perfect Santa and Mrs. Claus bring joy and smiles to children of all ages.  Mrs. Claus has a long history of working with children.  When their oldest daughter was in elementary school Mrs. Claus joined Girl Scouts.  She was a Troup Leader for over 15 years working with girls of all ages with camping skills, arts and crafts and earning their badges.  Later she joined Boy Scouts of America as Pack Secretary, Treasurer and Den Leader.  Mrs. Claus' specialty was knot making and she took great pleasure teaching all the cub scouts their knots as well as working with them with crafts and camping skill.  During her 12 years with Boy Scouts, Mrs. Claus was also a Train the Trainer working with adult leaders.  Mrs. Claus earned the highest achievement award, Cub Scout Woodbadge, in 2000.  Mrs. Claus' greatest delight is watching children become the person who God intended them to be.  She carries the spirit of Christ in her heart with each visit she and Santa Jerry make.

Santa Jerry and Mrs. Claus together were certified Boy Scouts of Americas Youth Protection Trainers.  For years they traveled from Pack to Pack and Troup to Troup training the adults and boys on child protection.   In addition to the BSA Youth Protection Program, they completed the Virtus Child Protection Program offered through the Catholic Church.  Santa Jerry and Mrs. Claus are dedicated in protecting our children and guarding their innocence.
